Top Travel and Local Apps on Android in El Salvador: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the travel and local app category on Android in El Salvador saw varied performance across the top five apps, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map showed fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at about 4K in late October and early November. Active user numbers also varied, reaching a high of approximately 24K in early November.

Airbnb maintained a steady download rate, with numbers ranging from 1.9K to 3.1K. Active users slightly dipped from 81K at the start of the quarter to around 77K by the end.

Google Earth experienced a consistent download rate, averaging around 1.1K weekly. Active user figures remained stable, fluctuating between 5.5K and 5.9K.

Trip.com: Book Flights, Hotels saw a significant drop in downloads, starting at over 2K at the beginning of October and falling to just over 50 by the end of December. Active users followed a similar pattern, declining from 2.6K to approximately 1.2K.

Finally, Booking.com: Hotels & Travel downloads peaked at 1.4K in late October. Active users showed a moderate increase, rising from around 10K to nearly 11K by the end of the quarter.
